What do you see?

The sinner you once were

Or the saint that He set free?

Seek the Lord constantly

Creation Proclaims

All of earth proclaims
His wondrous glory
A stately tree...
some small twigs...
even a withering branch...
may have an intriguing
tale to tell
may we listen
and watch
with hopeful hearts
as on this earth we dwell.

Withholding

When we withold

Love from one another
We are hurting ourselves

Not just our fellow brother.

As a bird

Takes to flight

And its wings ascend

To new height,

I see myself longing

For that goal to attain

To soar to new heights

Jesus in All

When we see Jesus

In every aspect of our life

It is then we stand firm

During any and all strife.

While winding homeward

In the dim evening light

My mind wanders

And at times takes flight


It's then I'm reminded

Of God's mercy for me

Lifting me to heights

That before, I could not see.

Encouragement should be contagious
As some can well see
Giving it to others
And accepting some for me.

When our eyes are on the prize

Of things to obtain

We lose sight of Christ

On whom our focus

should remain.

Action

Intention without action

Will lead to nowhere

Putting action to intention

Leads us out of despair.

Thirst

As the desert

Cries out for the rain

And in its longing

Is quenched,

May we cry out

To the Lord

And in His love and mercy

Be drenched.
