When life gives you a wrench

As it may well do
Seek the Lord constantly

And wrenches will be seen

From a whole new view.

All of earth proclaims

some small twigs...

may we listen
and watch
with hopeful hearts

When we withold

Love from one another

As a bird

Takes to flight

I see myself longing

For that goal to attain

To soar to new heights

When we see Jesus

In every aspect of our life

It is then we stand firm

While winding homeward

In the dim evening light

And at times takes flight


It's then I'm reminded

Of God's mercy for me

Lifting me to heights

That before, I could not see.

Of things to obtain

We lose sight of Christ

On whom our focus

Intention without action

Will lead to nowhere

Putting action to intention

Leads us out of despair.

As the desert

And in its longing

To the Lord
